RealTime for Chrome

Speed up, skip, seek and use picture-in-picture on YouTube, Instagram, X, TikTok and other compatible video sites. Video Controls is free and needs no account.

Add to ChromeChrome on a computer

Install from the Chrome Web Store. Chrome updates the extension automatically.

Install in Chrome

  1. Open the Chrome Web Store using the button above.
  2. Click Add to Chrome, review the permissions, then confirm with Add extension.
  3. Refresh your video tabs. Hover a video to reveal the controls.

In Chrome’s Extensions menu, pin RealTime Video Controls to reach its settings from the toolbar.

Previously installed from a ZIP?

Disable your unpacked Video Controls copy in Chrome’s Extensions menu before installing the store version, so two copies do not show controls on the same video. You may need to set your preferences again in the store version.
